Founder of Sikhism, voice of unity, truth, and divine loveगुरु नानक देव जी, सिख धर्म के प्रथम गुरु और संस्थापक थे, जिनका जन्म 1469 में तलवंडी (अब पाकिस्तान में ननकाना साहिब) में हुआ था।
Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru and founder of Sikhism, was born in 1469 in Talwandi (now Nankana Sahib, Pakistan). From childhood, he displayed profound spiritual depth and questioned ritualistic practices, seeking a direct connection with the Divine. One day, after bathing in the river, he disappeared for three days and emerged transformed, declaring, 'There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim — only the Divine.' His travels, known as Udasis, took him across India, the Middle East, and Tibet, spreading a universal message of love, service, equality, and remembrance of God. He rejected caste divisions, empty rituals, and injustice, emphasizing that God resides in all beings. Through his poetry and hymns — compiled in the Guru Granth Sahib — he offered timeless spiritual wisdom. Guru Nanak's life was a song of compassion, humility, and truth, and his legacy continues to uplift humanity, reminding us that the path to God is through love, selflessness, and seeing the divine in every heart.
