स्वामी समर्थ अक्कलकोट के एक दिव्य और रहस्यमयी संत थे, जिन्हें भगवान दत्तात्रेय का अवतार माना जाता है। उन्होंने 19वीं शताब्दी में अक्कलकोट (महाराष्ट्र) को अपनी तपोभूमि बनाया। साधारण वस्त्रों में, कम बोलने वाले इस संत की उपस्थिति मात्र से ही श्रद्धालु शांति का अनुभव करते थे। उन्होंने कई चमत्कार किए — असाध्य रोगों का इलाज, मनोकामनाओं की पूर्ति, और भटके हुए लोगों को मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया। उनका संदेश सरल था — 'ईश्वर में पूर्ण समर्पण और सच्चा जीवन जियो।' उनका अंत समय भी प्रेम से भरा था — 'भिऊ नकोस, मी तुझ्या पाठीशी आहे।' आज भी स्वामी समर्थ के अनगिनत भक्त उनकी अदृश्य कृपा को महसूस करते हैं।
Swami Samarth of Akkalkot was a mysterious and powerful saint, believed to be an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya. Appearing in the 19th century, he made the town of Akkalkot in Maharashtra his spiritual home. Clad simply, often speaking in riddles or silence, Swami Samarth’s divine presence alone would bring peace to troubled souls. He displayed countless miracles — curing illnesses, answering prayers, and guiding lost seekers. Yet he always reminded his devotees to surrender to God and lead a righteous life. People from far and wide, cutting across castes and faiths, came to him in hope and devotion. His final words before taking Samadhi in 1878 — 'Don’t be afraid, I am with you' — continue to echo in the hearts of millions. Even today, his devotees experience his unseen guidance and blessings.
